What Quarter Are We In? (And Why It Matters!)

Ever wonder, “What quarter are we in?” It’s a simple question, but understanding business quarters can sometimes feel a bit… well, puzzling! Let’s clear it up.

Think of a year as a big, delicious pie, cut into four equal slices. Each slice is called a “quarter,” and they help businesses, governments, and even us, track time and plan things out.

Each quarter lasts for three months. Quarter one, or Q1, is January, February, March. Q2 is April, May, June. Q3 covers July, August, and September. And finally, Q4 wraps up the year with October, November, and December.

So, based on today’s date, July 1st, 2025, we are officially in Quarter 3! It’s that simple!

Knowing what quarter we’re in helps with financial reports, project deadlines, and even understanding economic news. Now you know!
